CDH1 MT4 mill-type cylinder, 100mm bore, 70mm rod, 1300mm stroke. Double-acting, trunnion mount on the head end. The MT4 mount puts the pivot point near the rod side, so the body swings while the rod end stays put — common setup for articulating arms and pivoting linkages.

Barrel is 27SiMn seamless honed tube, roller-burnished internal finish. Rod is CK45 or 40Cr, induction hardened first, then hard chrome plated 25-35 micron, surface hardness around HV 850-950. Chromed rod runs through a bolted gland assembly with 12.9 grade hex bolts around the perimeter — standard mill-type head design, easy to rebuild.

Trunnion pins are brass material, pressed and secured into the MT4 mounting block. Brass on steel gives you a natural bearing surface, no separate bushing needed. Each pin has a split-pin hole for external retention clips.

Gland housing has a side hex port — standard size for G1/2 or M22×1.5 hose fitting. Service side access only, the top port on the cap end handles the blind-side flow. Adjustable cushioning screws at both ends if you need to dial in deceleration at stroke limits.

Rod end is a spherical bearing eye with a grease nipple on the housing. Self-aligning type, gives you a few degrees of angular play for mounting tolerance. The bearing itself is hardened steel, replaceable — press out the old one, press in a new one, no machining needed.

Sealing: PTFE step-cut primary with NBR energizer on the piston, PU U-cup buffer, double lip wiper on the rod. Standard Parker/Merkel profile geometry, off-the-shelf seal kits fit.

Tested at 35MPa hydrostatic for 5 minutes, then full-stroke cycling at 25MPa with cushioning check. Mounting dimensions match Rexroth CDH1 MT4 factory specs — bolt pattern, trunnion pin diameter, port locations all interchangeable.
