Which sensor brands do you integrate into the CS series?
We primarily use world-leading magnetostrictive sensors like MTS Temposonics™ or Balluff™, ensuring maximum reliability and signal stability.
What type of feedback signals are supported?
Our CS series supports a wide range of outputs including analog (4-20mA, 0-10V) and digital protocols (SSI, CANbus, Profibus, Profinet).
How is the sensor protected against high-pressure hydraulic fluid?
The sensor probe is encased in a high-pressure resistant stainless steel tube (up to 350 bar) and is installed inside the hollowed piston rod.
Can the sensor be replaced without dismantling the entire cylinder?
Yes. Our CS design allows for the electronic sensor head to be replaced from the outside, minimizing downtime and maintenance costs.
Is special calibration required upon installation?
Every CS cylinder is factory-calibrated. However, for digital signals, zero-point adjustment via the PLC is recommended during initial commissioning.
What is the maximum stroke length for smart cylinders?
We can manufacture CS cylinders with integrated sensors for strokes up to 5,000mm, maintaining high linearity and resolution.
